Climate Chaos
Written by:

Title

Walter cycle

Purpose

To see how walter cycle works

Materials

  • First bag
  • Plastic bag 1x
  • Walter ½ cups of water
  • Food colouring 2x drops
  • Vivid 1x
  • Double sided tape 2x

  • Second bag
  •  ½ cups of water
  • ½ spoon of baking powder
  • 1x plastic bag
  • 1x scissors
  • 2x double sided tape
  • ½ cup of soda water

Steps

Draw the walter cycle and then carefully pour the walter and food coloring in to your plastic bag  and then stick the double sided tape on top and bottom the stick to a window with sun shining towards it

Second bag  do the same thing as the first bag draw the water cycle on any sided of the plastic bag using your vived do not use a white board marker then carefully pour your soda water in to you bag then add your food coloring be very scrupulous because you don’t want any on you hands and clothes the use your litmus paper and stick it to a window that get a lot of the suns attention   then leave it there for 2 or 3 days and see the changes.

Conclusion

The first bag I think the water will just rise up and go back down and go in a water cycle round and round.
What I thought happened is the water will dry us and dissolve.

The second bag I thought the second day would dissolve into the white powder Or Turn into dust

But then the real outcome was the water just shrink and shrink even more Until nothing was in the bag.

aim to learn about the different emissions of climate change

Factory making clothes cars  electronics and processed food creates a lot of pollution when materials like plastic.
cows creates a greenhouse gas called methane when they burp and farts.
transportation most cars need gas or diesel to work  these come from oil, which is a fossil fuel
electricity  is a form of energy used to power almost every thing in our homes electricity can come renewable sources.
food we need food to survive bit it creates a lot of of pollution
landfill our landfills are growing and using up  more healthy land when wast brakes down in landfills.

DIGITAL TEACH

Digital tech

Throughout the past we have been researching about, Ethical, Environmental and Social. We were given a choice to pick which one we would like to research about. I choose Environment, because I want to learn more about mother nature and about the ocean i love swimming in kaipo beach  Secondly we got to make a robot and a maze filled with rubbish to show people why our Environment is getting affected which is because our sea animals are dying because of litter.
Research template
Our issue:
Thirdly in the past week my group has been creating a maze that looks like a ocean bed, filled with rocks and rubbish. We are also not doing this for fun but we are doing this to support the Environment. The reason why we made a robot and this kind of activity is so that, we can show the world how important the Environment is, and sea creatures are dying. The Environment is very important in life.

Our robot:
Secondly, we have a robot which is called a sphero. What the sphero does is that it will have a race around the maze and see who can collect most of the rubbish first and who can complete the maze first.

I feel that my group has done well with this experiment because of, helping each other, communication and team work. Maybe next time we can focus more and get the work done.

If you done digital, what issue which you chose?

Johnny Pohe and the Great Escape School Journal
May 2019 Level 4
Describe how Stalag Luft III was designed to make escape difficult. The prisoners’ barracks
were raised off the ground so the guards
could spot signs of tunnelling, and the camp
was deliberately built on sandy soil that
easily collapsed.

Explain Tom, Dick and Harry. Dick was abandoned after its planned exit
point was built over during a camp extension,
and Tom was found by the Germans and
dynamited. In the end, Harry was the only
hope. Building

Describe everything that happened on the night of the 24th March.

Johnny made an escape. The men had to wait for a moonless
night. One arrived on 24 March 1944,
and the escape began. They struck
trouble straight away. It was the coldest
March in thirty years, and the exit
trapdoor was frozen solid. Freeing it
caused a ninety-minute delay. Worse was
to come. It was suddenly discovered that
the tunnel came up short of the nearby
forest, which was needed to provide cover.
The escape went ahead, and the first man
emerged at 10.30 p.m. Six minutes later,
he was followed by another.
These six-minute intervals were much
longer than the original plan of one man
per minute. A watchtower was nearby,
and the extra time was needed so men
could reach the woods. Word was sent
back that no one with a number above a
hundred would be getting away before
daybreak.

Explain what happened to Johnny. Johnny went missing.
Where are Johnny’s ashes buried? Poznan Poland.__________________________________________________________________
1 thing you learnt from this article. Johnny was a pilot.
