SCIENCE

Today in science we are going to find out the meaning of

1. Oesophagus is a muscular tube. It connects your mouth to

2. Stomach Takes in food that we have eaten

3.Small Intestine The small intestine carries out most of the digestive process absorbing almost all of the nutrients you get from foods into your bloodstream

4. Livers main job is to filter blood coming from the digestive before passing it to the rest of the body

5. Large Intestine and takes a much straighter path through your belly or abdomen

The Stomach is where All the food we absorb goes to.

The Liver filters our blood that goes though our body.

The Large Intestine makes way through your belly or abdomen.

The Small Intestine takes out majority of our digestive process.

The Oesophagus is apart of the digestive system.

when did maori establish kaiapoi pa? 1700

The background to the establishment of this pa was one of the many southward migrations of Maori times. This time it was Ngai Tahu moving into North Canterbury in the 1670 s displacing the established Ngati Mamoe as they went

why is the kaiapoi shorten their name? The town developed in the 1850 s on Kaiapoi Island, between the south and north branches of the Waimakariri River

The pa was built about 1700 by tu  Rakauatahi  the ngai of the tahu chief

                              Hauora-Well-Being

For the past 3 weeks in health We have been Learning and doing work around Whare Tapa Wha We made a house with all 4 of the dimensions then made it into a house the house represents all the 4 well being It must have all four of the dimensions Physical Social Mantle Spiritual and Emotion if you house did not have that it would not be as strong and will be weak There for that is why it is important to have all of the four dimensions In you Whare.

Well-Being Is a fun and activity that here at Hornby High School does It goes like for the first 10 minutes You have 2 minutes to pick from each box you get to have 10 minutes of being active or picking up trash ect. Well-being is to help keep the community and help yourself with your health and fitness.
